We are under strict medical discretion and this is a cornerstone in our profession that we respect. But to do our work and organize invoicing we are obliged to have information about you which is why we have a privacy and data policy.

Our company is physioinnovation sarl. Our company offers several services, such as coaching, bike fitting and training camps. We have an additional fourth service which is physiotherapy called cabinet physionrj which has a separate website. Please refer to that particular website for privacy information regarding our physiotherapy service.  

Physioinnovation sarl, the company which include the physiotherapy service called PhysioNRJ, is what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us physically or electronically. The data we collect can be through a electronic contact form, which is basic data such as name and telephone number. Otherwise it is from you contacting us through mail or telephone. For the purpose of us to do a physiotherapy service, we do need to collect certain information physically on paper ; your name, address, insurance information, diagnosis, email, phone number, other diagnostics relevant for future physiotherapy treatment or services as coaching, bike fitting or training camps if written in consent/contact form. Your personal sensitive information is given physically in written form and is safely stored independently.

Our website serves as informational purpose about who we are and what services we provide. We have not enabled anyone but ourselves to login to this website by wordpress, the host and their plugins. We have not any interest in collecting any information about users other than their mail and telephone if they want to contact us in order to reply from their request. However, since this website is hosted and presented by a free tool as wordpress, we need to inform visitors to what may happen with their data since wordpress and its plugins may collect data, although we are not aware of this and have no interest or intention to use this data. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. However, the possibility to add a comment on this site is disabled. Concerning media: If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. There is not any possibility to upload images to this site other than the admin of it, which is the company.

Data protection within this website is the responsibility of the host company, wordpress and the plugins used on this site, we have not enabled the visitor to leave any personal data here, but only given the option with a hyperlink to contact us through mail or phone or to click on one of our social media platforms. We have access to basic analytics from our newsletters, however this only covers information about opens and clicks on links there has been. Concerning this website clicking on a link to another website could possibly generate a cookie or cache from the other website. Visitor comments on a possible contact form from this website (if enabled) may be checked through an automated spam detection service and are send through email.

Concerning this website, Physioinnovation are not familiar of any third parties we receive data from and we do not use this feature. We do not collect or have any use of data from third parties, this site serves as an informational tool for visitors about who we are and what services we propose. The hyperlinks referring to social media affiliated with physioinnnovation (coaching, bike fitting and training camps) are not pixels with an ad code embedded, they are hyperlinks referring you to our social media site and gives you a method to stay in contact with us. However, cookies might be installed on your device from other websites you have visited or will visit. We refer to above mentioned explanation about cookies.


What data breach procedures we have in place

For this website: Since no data is actively collected through this website, and the sensitive data is safely stored separately, the event of a data breach on this website has small consequences others than the webmaster. For maximum security all sensitive information is solely stored on a separate medical software: For data breach on separate medical software based in Switzerland, the host and beholder of this software is responsible for the security of the software and hosting of this. In the unlikelihood of any breach, Physioinnovation cannot be held liable for this.  

What we do with your data

All the personal medical data we process is processed by our staff in the Switzerland and hosted by a Swiss company. This website, however is for IT hosting and maintenance located on servers within the European Union. There are no 3rd parties have access to your personal sensitive data from this website, since we do not have any option for you to give us these on this website. We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal sensitive data. Which is why we have separated medical sensitive data to a host within Switzerland on a Swiss medical program. This website where you only have the possibility to mail us through a hyperlink we have separated to another host where no sensitive personal information is passed on, only name and telephone number (if contact form is enabled). The site and medical information software has no communication and no information is shared between those. Our organizational agenda is separate and anonymized and has no communication between medical software nor with the website.    


Concerning our affiliate separate website www.physio-nrj.ch: We do not use marketing within our physiotherapy services called PHYSIONRJ and its own separate website www.physio-nrj.ch since medical companies are not allowed to do so by law, the site contains information about our physiotherapy, what type of physiotherapy services we offer, individual coaching services, where to find us and how to contact us. On the affiliate social media platforms, we do not use marketing, but we might share news about a change in the company or an event we invite to. On these social media accounts affiliated to our physiotherapy service physioNRJ, we might share information about latest advances in physiotherapy science or news about our physiotherapy service PhysioNRJ clinic.

Concerning this website (www.physioinnovation.ch)and its services such as bike fitting, coaching and training camps: It can contain elements which could be associated with marketing, since the services proposed from this site is coaching, bike fitting and training camps whom are not obliged to follow a strict marketing code like physiotherapy. This is why we have separated the two sites and services. Concerning this website, we might share information regarding scientific trials concerning coaching, training and bike fitting. We might share information of exercises and their effect on the musculoskeletal system and what our services within coaching, bike fitting and training camps do/propose differently and what type of experience we aim to give you with these services. We might share news about a change in the company or an event we invite to. We have social media sites, that gives us the possibility for people to follow our company and different services within coaching, bike fitting and training camps, furthermore to interact with above mentioned type of information we might share on this site. Our sport performance services such as coaching, bike fitting and training camps etc. affiliated by the logo with name: PHYSIOINNOVATION and the description of the service such as bike fit, training camps or sport performance might use marketing to promote those services but only on this website www.physioinnovation.ch and their affiliate social platforms concerning bike fitting, sport performance or training camps.

Why we need your data and what we do with your data

We need to know your basic personal data, medical prescription, insurance information and if necessary medical reports and diagnostics conclusions in order to provide you with physiotherapy treatment, on-going organizational updates and agenda, invoicing for you or your insurance and contact with your medical prescriber (if necessary or upon demand from you). –We will only collect personal data from you that we do need in order to provide and oversee the physiotherapy or coaching service to you, including invoicing, diagnosis, your insurance details, your contact details. Physiotherapy is under medical discretion and we do not share any sorts of personal sensitive information with 3rdparts, others than the invoicing for your insurance, contact with your medical prescriber (if necessary), unless the law enforces us to do so. This is a normal workflow in physiotherapy and the medical profession. All the personal sensitive data we process is processed physically and electronically by our staff in the Switzerland and by a Swiss host. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.  We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data. 

What we would also like to do with your basic contact data

We would however like to use your name, address, and/or email address to send you our newsletter 1-2 times per year, with information about new services or structural changes with employees. The newsletter is sent either post or email. Your address will not be shared with any third parties. The newsletter by email are sent by “Mail Chimp”. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us via phone or email. If you wish to contact us by email, sms or through a message application, you give your automatic consent for us to reply on your request on the given platform.

How long we keep your data

We are required under law to keep your personal data (name, address, contact details, insurance details and medical prescription) for the legal amount of years before it can be destroyed. Your basic electronically contact information we might use to contact you by mail or phone and will be kept with us until you notify us to delete it or that you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us. 

 What are your rights

 If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated.
